Overview
Table Talk Event Rentals is a local business that rents equipment like tents, tables and chairs to festivals, corporate events, weddings, parties and more. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting equipment while ensuring timely setup and breakdown.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport event equipment, supplies, and materials to designated locations.
- Load and unload heavy items using manual handling techniques or material handling equipment.
- Set up event spaces by assembling structures, arranging equipment, and ensuring all items are correctly positioned according to event specifications.
- Perform warehouse duties such as processing packages and cleaning equipment.
Required
- Prior experience driving vehicles such as cargo vans.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to carry 40lb in each hand.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and event staff during deliveries and setup activities.
Preferred
- Prior experience in event rentals, logistics, hospitality, customer service, construction, or related industries
- CDL
- Experience with audiovisual equipment such as speakers and microphones
- Interest in small business/entrepreneurship
